Virginia Tech has offered Iowa Falls (Iowa) Ellsworth C.C. 2019 defensive tackle Keonte Schad. Here's a quick look at him.

Schad is already committed to Minnesota, but with offers still coming in (including from the Hokies),. that may not be set in stone. He's a native of Wisconsin, so the Midwest roots run deep, but certainly Virginia Tech is the highest-profile team on the defensive side of the ball among those who have taken the initiative to offer Schad.
VT is clearly looking for defensive tackles among the Juco ranks, but it remains to be seen if Schad is one with whom they'll have a serious shot. Look for the staff to push for at least a visit. If they can make that happen, things can escalate quickly here.
