This is an interesting offer for the Hokies: while they would like another defensive lineman in the 2018 class, most had projected a top target (five-star KJ Henry) or high-upside player with room to grow into an end, rather than a kid whose physique pigeonholes him into the defensive tackle position. How hard the Hokies ultimately pursue may end up being a different story, especially given his options closer to home.
