Virginia Tech has offered Honaker (Va.) 2017 kicker Jordan Stout. Here's a quick look at the player.

VT is the first FBS offer for Stout, and the Hokies' needs on special teams will surely be noted when it comes decision time. For an in-state player whose first big time offer is from Virginia Tech, it would be an upset (as long as special teams coach James Shibest and the rest of the staff continue pursuing vigorously) for him to land elsewhere.
