New Virginia Tech football offer: Jacoby Pinckney

Virginia Tech has offered Roebuck (S.C.) Dorman 2019 wide receiver Jacoby Pinckney. Here's a quick look at the player.

South Carolina

Pinckney's offer from VT is just his second of the process. The Hokies join South Carolina, who offered in early June. Getting in the game early is always a boost when things come down to crunch time, but that one of his home-state schools beat VT to the punch could diminish that advantage. Still, he was on-campus for a visit and camp yesterday, so he's already building a bit of familiarity with Blacksburg and the coaching staff.
