New Virginia Tech football offer: Eli Adams

Virginia Tech has offered Rock Hill (S.C.) South Pointe 2018 defensive end Eli Adams. Here's a quick look at the player.

East Carolina, Maryland, NC State, South Carolina

Unlike the majority of our-of-state players who pick up offers, Adams already visited a couple times before receiving the honor from the Hokies. That immediately indicates that they should be firmly in the mix here. VT is putting a bit of effort into recruiting the Palmetto State - including an early commitment from receiver Bryce Thompson - and that should help Adams feel more comfortable on campus. It remains to be seen just how large his offer list gets, but Virginia Tech should remain right near the top throughout.
