New Virginia Tech football offer: Drew Pyne

Virginia Tech has offered New Canaan (Conn.) 2020 quarterback Drew Pyne. Here's a quick look at the player.

Alabama, Florida State, Penn State, South Carolina

Pyne has already seen plenty of schools, with a robust college camp tour entering his freshman year of high school. That led to several big time offers, but there is a family connection - uncle Jim Pyne played at VT, and cousin Kevin also has an offer from the Hokies (though Kevin is also a nephew, not Jim's son). That should be a huge boost in the early going, even if there's a long way to go.
