New Virginia Tech football offer: Dontay Demus

Virginia Tech has offered Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy 2018 wide receiver Dontay Demus. Here's a quick look at the player.

Boston College, Maryland, Rutgers, Wisconsin

Demus has long been interested in the Hokies despite the lack of an offer. He's already been to campus (along with much of his high school team), and that should make for an easier than otherwise expected task of making up ground on the leaders, Maryland and Rutgers - it doesn't hurt that neither lit the world on fire in 2016. The Hokies will work to get him back on campus this offseason, but should be in pretty strong standing for him either way.
