New Virginia Tech football offer: Derrick Eason

Virginia Tech has offered Norfolk (Va.) Norview 2018 defensive tackle Derrick Eason. Here's a quick look at the player.

Marshall, NC State, Old Dominion, Temple

Eason has several offers, but the majority of them are from lower-conference teams. Only NC State joins the Hokies as a Power-5 offer, and given that he's a Tidewater-area player, there's no doubt that Virginia Tech is going to have plenty of say in this one. Since his recruitment is rising its level, there's little to go on for now, but VT should be right in the mix - if not a definitive favorite.
