New Virginia Tech football offer: Dennis Smith

Virginia Tech has offered Gaffney (S.C.) 2018 wide receiver Dennis Smith. Here's a quick look at the player.

Clemson, Duke, Georgia, South Carolina, Wake Forest

Like most of the weekend's new offers, Smith was on-campus when he got the good news, so the interest was already there from his end even before the Hokies validated it with an offer. Unlike some of the other players with fresh offers, though, he already had some big-timers on his list, including the defending national champs. He plans to take his time with the decision process, but the Hokies have started about as well as can be expected.
