New Virginia Tech football offer: Cole Beck

Virginia Tech has offered Blacksburg (Va.) High 2018 running back Cole Beck. Here's a quick look at him.

East Carolina, Louisville, North Carolina, Pitt, Virginia, Mississippi State, West Virginia

Beck has seemed pretty resigned to not picking up an offer from the childhood favorite and hometown school, and that was the case when he named a top five of ECU, Louisville, UNC, Pitt, and UVa. Beck was pretty set on that final group, but an offer from the Hokies is almost certain to be a game-changer for him. It's unclear where he fits in a VT class that doesn't have a lot of room left, but if the coaches can sell him on a solid plan, there's a good chance Virginia Tech vaults to the top of the list.
