New Virginia Tech football offer: Christopher Smith

Virginia Tech has offered Atlanta Hapeville Charter 2018 cornerback Christopher Smith. Here's a quick look at the player.

Smith insists he doesn't have a timeline - he'll decide whenever he feels ready, but is willing to wait all the way until National Signing Day for that - but it's clear that he's feeling the SEC lately, and particularly the home-state Bulldogs. We'll see if Virginia Tech at least manages to get him on a campus visit (and the Georgia pipeline they're working on could help there), but it's an uphill battle either way.
