New Virginia Tech football offer: Christian Ford

Virginia Tech has offered Roswell (Ga.) 2018 wide receiver Christian Ford. Here's a quick look at the player.

VT is Ford's first

Virginia Tech is putting major effort into recruiting Georgia, and Ford is the latest beneficiary. There are a couple factors working in the Hokies' favor here: first, they've offered before anyone else, and secondly, they have a teammate committed in 2017 Ath/QB Malik Willis. In fact, with in-region powers starting to come after Willis's pledge, an offer to a teammate should help shore up his commitment, as well. Look for Ford to take a post-season visit to Blacksburg with Willis.
