New Virginia Tech football offer: Chase Brown

Virginia Tech has offered Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna C.C. 2018 JuCo lineman Chase Brown. Here's a quick look at the player.

Virginia Tech is his first

Brown was originally a Class of 2015 prospect who signed with James Madison out of high school, and the DMV-area player is in fact an in-state resident originally. He's graduating this month from his junior college, so he could be a Class of 2017 player rather than 2018 if he so desires (though JuCos typically graduate in December and enroll at mid-term). The Hokies will start this re-recruitment in strong position, and Brown could provide some immediate help up front.
