Goodwin is the third player from Providence Day who has picked up an offer over the past few weeks, joining 2023 CB Chris Peal and positionmate/classmate Jordan Shipp. With a 1-2 punch of cornerbacks coach Derek Jones and Fontel Mines on his case, there's a good chance the Hokies remain strong on his list - and the potential for a group visit at some point during spring practices. If and when that happens, the Hokies can continue to sell not just the program philosophy, but a potential package deal to the whole crew.
