Though listed as a safety in the Rivals database, many schools are recruiting Jones as a hybrid OLB, and the fact that the Hokies' position coach for exactly that role - Shawn Quinn - is his lead recruiter says a lot about where the Hokies see him, too. Jones plans to take his time in the recruiting process, visiting as many programs as possible before making his college pledge before his senior year. That provides ample opportunity to visit Blacksburg, and while he doesn't have plans set in stone yet, a trip as early as this Spring is a distinct possibility.
