Virginia Tech has offered a trio from the Team Loaded AAU program in 2020s Jahvon John, Darrick Jones, and Mark Williams. Here's a quick look at all three.
All three players - and indeed even more from their AAU program - visited campus today, which is when the offers came through. A trip to campus and a club situation that is friendly to Virginia Tech is a nice first start. We're so far off from any of the three making a decision (they haven't even begun their sophomore years of high school), but getting in the door early and recruiting all three heavily should help the Hokies be in the mix.
John, a 6-7 wing/forward, plays his high school ball at Virginia Beach Bishop Sullivan, a school that obviously has some connections to VT (albeit more on the football recruiting trail than basketball to date).
Jones stands 6-4 and is a guard prospect. He plays at Midlothian Millwood School. The 6-10 Williams is a post from Norfolk Academy.
