New Virginia Tech basketball offer: Nate Hinton

Virginia Tech has offered Charlotte (N.C.) Gaston Day School 2018 guard Nate Hinton. Here's a quick look at him.

Indiana, Wichita State, Cincinnati, Old Dominion, Penn State, VCU

The coaching staff made the most of the opening of the evaluation period, taking in several AAU tournaments, and Hinton is the first beneficiary. He comes from an area that ha been kind to VT on both the basketball and football sides of things, including 2019 forward commit BJ Mack (who will play his last two years of high school ball at Oak Hill Academy). Much of Hinton's attention - and indeed most of his scholarship offers - has come in just the past week, so VT isn't behind the curve one bit.
