New Virginia Tech basketball offer: Jeenathan Williams

Virginia Tech has offered Rochester (N.Y.) University Prep 2018 wing Jeenathan Williams. Here's a quick look at the player.

Georgia Tech, Marquette, NC State, Rutgers, Temple

Williams plans to finish up AAU season and then take some visits before making an early decision, so Virginia Tech is getting in the door at just the right time to have a shot here. He plans trips to Marquette and Syracuse, but with a Hokie offer on the table, they have a chance to earn an official visit (he wants to take as many as he can before that early commitment) if he's unable to make it in unofficially. The coaching staff will have to make up for a bit of lost time with a compressed timetable, but there's a shot here.
