New Virginia Tech basketball offer: Jaylin Williams

Virginia Tech has offer Nahunta (Ga.) Brantley County 2019 forward Jaylin Williams. Here's a quick look at the player.

Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma State

Williams has expressed an early preference for playing in the SEC, which makes sense given its proximity to home. However, he also admits to not being much of a college hoops fan, so it's possible that he changes his mind when he realizes it's essentially a mid-major league outside of a couple traditional powers (and the occasional incredible run from a team like South Carolina). His travels so far have been concentrated in the Southeast, but playing for a top AAU program should give him the opportunity to travel a little more widely - and the Hokies need to get him on campus to really have a shot here.
