New Virginia Tech basketball offer: Jake Forrester

Virginia Tech has offered Westtown School (Pa.) 2018 forward Jake Forrester. Here's a quick look at the player.

Indiana, Kansas State, Minnesota, Pitt, Richmond, Temple

Forrester plans to hit the recruiting trail in early June, during a hiatus in his Summer AAU schedule. With an offer from the Hokies on the table, Blacksburg will almost certainly be part of that itinerary. VT's need in the post (and Buzz Williams's track record of using bigs as more than just post players) should be a boost to the chances of landing Forrester, but the unofficial visit will really clarify where the Hokies stand.
