New Virginia Tech basketball offer: Donnie Tillman

Virginia Tech has offered Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep 2017 forward Donnie Tillman. Here's a quick look at the player.

Boston College, Cal, Maruqette, UNLV, Utah

Although he's finishing up his high school career in the Las Vegas area, Tillman is actually a Detroit native, so the distance from Blacksburg is not as daunting as it might seem. The late offer could be a bit of a deterrent, but it also demonstrates that the Hokies have an argument to Tillman that they need, not just want him. VT will have to get him on campus to have a serious shot here.
