Not only is VT early in the door for Nembhard, but the Hokies also have a connection to him through 2017 commit Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Like Alexander-Walker, Nembhard is a native of Canada who plays his high school basketball at a prep school in the U.S. Having landed one could help Buzz Williams down the road with the other.
