New Virginia Tech basketball offer: Jalen Cone

Virginia Tech has offered Kernersville (N.C.) Walkertown 2020 point guard Jalen Cone. Here's a quick look at him.

Hampton

Virginia Tech is obviously a big step up in caliber from Cone's previous offer, Hampton. Older brother Madison signed with Wisconsin for football in February, so there are connections there if the Badgers come calling. He visited Blacksburg in June, and VT is a strong program that has put emphasis into recruiting the Tar Heel State, so until the big boys across the nation come calling, the Hokies should be in good shape.
