Originally from Cincinnati, Moore spent the past year and a half at Mississippi Delta C.C. He will enroll in January and participate in Virginia Tech's spring practice.
Moore, ranked as the No. 26 junior college player in the country by Rivals.com, officially visited the Hokies this past weekend. Moore told HokieHaven.com last week that he had formed a strong relationship with new offensive line coach Vance Vice.
"He said he sees me as a good tackle who would be able to come in, do good and maybe make a change there," Moore said.
Moore is Virginia Tech's fourth offensive line commitment for the 2016 class and its first signee at the position. He joins Cumberland (Va.) three-star T.J. Jackson, Darlington (Ga.) three-star Patrick Kearns and Nansemond River (Va.) two-star Thomas Jarrett Hopple. Moore is also the Hokies' second junior college addition, joining Trinity Valley CC (TX) quarterback Jérod Evans, who signed his letter of intent on Wednesaday.
