My favorite moment? Probably when we beat Miami in 2003 (31-7) and I stormed the field. I had a ridiculous giant straw hat on and when the clock hit 0:00 we all stormed the field. I ran from endzone to endzone hugging everybody and high fiving the players as they left the field.
It was a great day of spending time with family, tailgating and watching the No. 2 team in the country get their behinds handed to them. I was glad to be a part of that atmosphere.
I've never felt Lane Stadium have a buzz like that in all my years of going to Virginia Tech games. The only game that comes close to it that I have attended was the final game of the 1999 season against Boston College (a 38-14 Hokies win that sent them to the BCS National Championship game against Florida State).
