McFadden includes Hokies in narrowed list

Offensive line is a huge need for Virginia Tech in the 2018 class, and they could be one step closer to landing a top target. Roebuck (S.C.) Dorman three-star Jordan McFadden named his top schools over the weekend, and the Hokies were included.

McFadden's top 12 list is in no particular order, though even when that's the case, it can be refreshing to see VT at the top - if only because it indicates they're easy for him to remember when naming the schools. The rest of the group consists of Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Michigan State, Missouri, North Carolina, NC State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia, and Wake Forest. Appalachian State, Indiana, Mississippi State, and Charlotte are among those that have been eliminated from contention.

The 6-4, 280-pounder is a three-star unranked nationally or within his position, though he's considered the No. 22 rising senior in South Carolina. The Hokies currently boast one Class of 2018 pledge - wide receiver Bryce Thompson, No. 10 in the state - from South Carolina.

McFadden has not announced plans to further narrow his list or make a commitment.
