Dinwiddie, Va. defensive lineman Corey Marshall announced his college intentions on national television earlier this evening. The 6-foot-2, 240-pounder selected the Hokies over a number of other offers including Michigan, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia Tech and a number of others.
"I have to go with Virginia Tech," he said. "I just think they had the best ability, best chance for me to be successful. They've had the most success putting players in the league, it's astounding. It'll make me set for the next four to five years. It's a solid place with a solid foundation. I'm going to a great team under good leadership. The sky is the limit."
