Virginia Tech suffered a very disappointing loss to Pittsburgh at home yesterday. But it wasn't all bad for the Hokies, who got some big news from someone who saw the game in person.
IMG Academy (Fla.) four-star cornerback Khalil Ladler announced today via Twitter that he's committed to Virginia Tech. Ladler is currently finishing up his official visit with the Hokies this weekend and was on hand yesterday for the game.

Ladler is ranked No. 185 in the Rivals250, the No. 14 cornerback in the 2016 class and the No. 27 player in Florida. Originally from Stephenson (Ga.), Ladler transferred to IMG Academy over the summer.
Ladler had over two dozen offers, including from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Miami and South Carolina. He was recruited primarily by assistant coach Torrian Gray.
Ladler becomes commitment No. 17 and the highest ranked commitment in the 2016 class for the Hokies. He's the fourth defensive back in their class, joining three-stars Reggie Floyd, Troy Pride and Myles Wolfolk.
