Jordan Redmond includes Hokies on narrowed list

Virginia Tech may be mostly set along the defensive line in the 2018 class, but Jordan Redmond is still looking at VT.

The three-star out of Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola is down to ten schools, with the Hokies joined by Duke, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi State, NC State, Texas Tech, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Indiana, Minnesota, and Syracuse were among the programs that had offered, but are no longer under consideration, while the likes of Clemson and North Carolina have shown some interest but are yet to offer.

Virginia Tech already has two defensive tackles committed in the 2018 class (three-stars Cam Goode and Joe Kane), and may not be in the market for any more, instead focusing on defensive ends like five-star North Carolinian KJ Henry. However, they may not shut the door completely on Redmond for the time being, and will likely wait to see how the remainder of their class looks to shape up.
