Virginia Tech keeps the good times rolling: now, it's the 2019 class, which Daleville (Va.) Lord Botetourt offensive lineman Jesse Hanson joined today.

The 6-4, 290-pound Hanson is a three-star ranked the No. 8 junior in Virginia and the No. 13 offensive guard nationally. He is the third member of the 2019 class, joining receivers Elijah Bowick and Jahad Carter.

Hanson visited Virginia Tech once last Summer for the Hokies' elite camp, and returned for a game visit this Fall just days after picking up an offer from the Maroon and Orange. With other options like Duke, North Carolina and UVa also on the table, he decided that he'd seen enough.

He helped lead Lord Botetourt to an 11-3 record during his junior season, and is expected to see his stock rise on the recruiting trail with an offseason competing against players from a wider geographic range in camp settings. His older brother Mitch was an FCS All-American at Liberty University earlier this decade.
