Hokies make Dyami Brown's next cut

Slowly but surely, Charlotte (N.C.) West Mecklenburg wide receiver Dyami Brown is narrowing his list of college suitors. Each time, Virginia Tech has made the cut.

Today, he reduced the group to five schools, with the Hokies joined by Alabama, Michigan, North Carolina, and Ohio State:

The No. 41 wide receiver and No. 199 overall prospect nationally, Brown has an offer list that is the envy of just about every other Class of 2018 player in the nation. He has not named a timeline to make further cuts or his college commitment.

A 6-2, 172-pounder, Brown could be an excellent fit at one of the outside receiver spots for VT. He has visited Blacksburg in the past, and is expected to return before finally wrapping up his decision.
