Hokies in top three for Tykee Ogle-Kellogg

Virginia Tech may already be loaded at wideout in the 2018 class, but three-star Tykee Ogle-Kellogg is still very interested. The 6-6, 191-pounder included the Hokies in his top three last night.

VT is joined by Ole Miss and Texas-San Antonio in Ogle-Kellogg's top three. Indiana, Louisville, South Carolina, and Tennessee are among the other programs that have issued scholarship offers to the product of Alcoa (Tenn.) High School.

He visited Blacksburg in early June, and the VT staff has remained in contact despite commitments from four-stars Tre Turner and Darryle Simmons. The No 39 player in the state of Tennessee presents an interesting physical package, though, with the height and frame to potentially grow into a tight end or hybrid player.

With some of the other top programs seeming to fade in his mind (including the Volunteers, just a few minutes up the road from his home in East Tennessee), Virginia Tech will remain one of the key competitors for his signature as long as they want to be.
