Virginia Tech was among the first Power-5 offers for Columbus (Ga.) Pacelli Catholic 2021 defensive lineman Ian Mathews. Now, the Hokies are among the final few programs sitll standing in the three-star's recruitment.

He announced a final seven Sunday afternoon.
