Every college basketball team is entitled to an off night a couple times a season. For Virginia Tech tonight, it was even more understandable.

Not having played since Feb. 6 (an overtime win against Miami), the Hokies showed the rust from their long layoff. Two opponent postponements and then a pair of games pushed back due to their own coronavirus testing protocols, and Mike Young's team was simply rusty.
