Hokie hoopers add walk-on big man
Virginia Tech's basketball team will be adding some size in very short order. Mike Barber of the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that Nicholas Fullard, a 6-10 junior center from Belmont (N.C.) Abbey, will join Buzz Williams's program as a walk-on.

Per NCAA transfer rules, Fullard will have to sit out the 2016-17 season, but will have the following two years available to see the court.
Last year, Fullard started all 28 games for the Crusaders, who went 9-19 on the season. He averaged 18.3 minutes each game, but only scored 3.2 points per contest.
With the mandatory redshirt year under his belt, he should be able to develop into a contributor for. Hokies team that will be glad to add a player with his height and length.
