The first team was Doug McDermott of Creighton, Victor Oladipo of Indiana, Otto Porter Jr., of Georgetown, Kelly Olynyk of Gonzaga and Trey Burke of Michigan. The second team is Mason Plumlee of Duke, Marcus Smart of Oklahoma State, Shane Larkin of Miami, Cody Zeller of Indiana and Ben McLemore of Kansas.
Joining Green on the third team are Jeff Withey of Kansas, Nate Wolters of South Dakota State, Deshaun Thomas of Ohio State and Russ Smith of Louisville.
Green was named the ACC Player of the Year in March. The nation's leading scorer, Green scored in double figures in every game this past season and leads the ACC in scoring in both overall games and conference games. He averaged 25.0 points per game and shot 47.5 percent from the field. Green set a new shool record with 801 points scored this season, breaking the old mark of 785 by Bimbo Coles in the 1989-90 season. In the regular season finale at Wake Forest, he scored his 1,700th career point and moved past Ace Custis into 10th place in career scoring at Virginia Tech.
