Eli Adams is a Hokie

One day, two commits. Rock Hill (S.C.) South Pointe 2018 defensive end Eli Adams is Virginia Tech's second pledge this afternoon.

The 6-0, 230-pound Adams is a three-star weakside defensive end, the No. 19 rising senior in the state of South Carolina. He joins Bryce Thompson as the second Palmetto State pledge in the class. He brings VT to 12 commitments overall and boosts the class to No. 19 nationally.

Adams picked VT over East Carolina, Maryland, and South Carolina, among others. He is the second defensive line commit in the class, joining North Carolina native Joe Kane.
