DeJuan Ellis is a Hokie

Virginia Tech has its second commitment in the Class of 2018. Owings Mills (Md.) McDonogh quarterback DeJuan Ellis will be a Hokie. The big recruiting week(s) in Blacksburg have continued into the end of the summer.

The 5-10, 146-pounder is a low three-star in the early going, though standard physical maturing (particularly adding a bit of height and weight) could see him move past players whose frames are already capped out.

He joins Columbia (S.C.) Ben Lippen wide receiver Bryce Thompson in the Hokies' class.
