DeAndre Hollins set to visit Virginia Tech, North Carolina

Tampa (Fla.) Jefferson three-star 2018 cornerback DeAndre Hollins has his next visits set. He'll see a pair of ACC schools next weekend.

The 6-2, 180-pounder has offers from both, along with the likes of Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. The Hokies offered in mid-January, just a couple weeks after securing a commitment from his high school teammate, 2017 defensive lineman J'Bril Glaze. Hollins will visit along with Glaze, who is ready to head North and begin his VT career.

The Hokies are in good position with a number of Class of 2018 defensive backs, but Hollins's combination of length and skill are a perfect fit for what the coaching staff likes in the secondary.

Hollins hasn't announced plans for officially narrowing his list of college suitors or making his commitment. If all goes well on his trip to Blacksburg - and the Tar Heels don't equally impress - he take one step closer to figuring out when and how he wants to cut things down.
