Crossen sets his finalists and a decision date

Could the Hokies' recruiting hotstreak continue in just over a week? Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley 2018 defensive back/athete DJ Crossen has narrowed his list with a decision date in mind for the near future.

The Hokies make the cut, along with East Carolina, Louisville, North Carolina, and NC State. The 6-2, 190-pounder is a high school teammate of 2017 Hokies quarterback pledge Hendon Hooker, and has been on campus multiple times within the past month.

That a decision date is set so quickly after picking up a Hokie offer and heading to Blacksburg on a couple occasions would seem to bode well for VT.

Although unranked at his position or within the state of North Carolina, Crossen is a three-star prospect with the ability to develop into an elite safety. He also has the athleticism to excel at multiple positions if need be.
