It wasn't exclusively good news for the Hokies on the recruiting trail this weekend: a lost pledge from DT D'Andre Martin cast a bit of a sour note.

The 6-5, 285-pounder is a two-star prospect out of Chester (Va.) Life Christian Academy, and was part of a July-August run on commitments that helped mostly establish the class as it stands today.
