Christian Darrisaw is a Hokie

It didn't take long for Upper Marlboro (Md.) Riverdale Baptist offensive lineman Christian Darrisaw to accept his Virginia Tech offer. The 2017 prospect received the good news last Friday, and returned the positive vibes last night with a commitment.

The 6-5, 290-pounder is unranked according to Rivals. He is the 16th pledge in the 2017 class, and second offensive lineman, joining fellow D.C.-area prospect Aiden Brown of Potomac (Md.) Bullis School. He picked the Hokies over a trio of FCS programs.

The VT class is No. 43 overall nationally, but should add several more commits by the time National Signing Day rolls around.
