Carter On Board With VT

For Palatka (Fla.) two-star linebacker Eron Carter, the best visit came last.

On Wednesday, Carter gave his commitment and signed his letter of intent to Virginia Tech. He officially visited the Hokies last weekend.

Carter used all five of his official visits, to Air Force, Tulane, UMASS and Western Kentucky. But his visit to Blacksburg put him over the top.

Carter was recruited primarily by assistant coach Charley Wiles. Carter joins three-stars Emmanuel Belmar and Tavante Beckett in Virginia Tech's 2016 recruiting class.
