Two commitments are now in for Virginia Tech for Beamer's BBQ. This morning, Indian River (Va.) three-star linebacker Tavante Beckett gave his commitment to the Hokies.
Beckett chose Virginia Tech over Wisconsin, his other finalist. Beckett is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 21 player in Virginia.

Earlier this morning, Darlington (Ga.) two-star offensive lineman Patrick Kearns also gave his commitment to the Hokies.
Beckett becomes the third linebacker commitment in the class, joining two-star Emmanuel Belmar and two-star Victor Greene. Assistant coach Bryan Stinespring was Beckett's primary recruiter.
