At long last, Buzz Williams has his first Class of 2019 commit. Fairfax (Va.) Paul VI point guard Anthony Harris is in:

The 6-3, 185-pound Harris is a four-star well inside the Rivals100, coming in as the No. 69 overall prospect and No. 9 point guard in the country. He picked VT over Wake Forest after officially visiting both (he also took an official to Duke last weekend, but never received an offer from the Blue Devils). UConn, Indiana, Georgetown, and West Virginia were among the programs that had also offered, but did not make his list of finalists.

Harris is a solid-shooting, ball-dominating guard who can either run the offense or play as a complement to a true point guard. He also breaks the seal on Virginia Tech's 2019 class, and a player with his versatility is a good fit in that role, as well. The Hokies will look for at least one true bigman, and at least a couple wing guard/forward types to round out the group, which has plenty of space available.
