BALTIMORE -- Virginia Tech and the state of Virginia were well-represented this weekend at the Rivals Five-Star Challenge presented by Under Armour. The event, held at M&T Bank Stadium, home of the Baltimore Ravens, showcased 109 of the top football players in the country.
Among those in attendance were four-star offensive lineman Austin Clark, four-star defensive back Jahvoni Simmons, Clemson commit Chad Smith, class of 2016 defensive back Levonta Taylor, class of 2016 tight end Devante Brooks, class of 2016 quarterback Austin Kendall and four-star offensive lineman George Brown.
Yesterday, at the end of the day's events, HokieHaven.com publisher Jason Stamm and VirginiaPreps.com senior editor Rod Johnson recapped what they saw and who stood out.
