DBU keeps growing for Virginia Tech.
The Hokies have yet another future member, as Ocean Lakes (Va.) three-star safety Jahque Alleyne announced his commitment to Virginia Tech this morning on High School Sports Talk presented by VirginiaPreps.com on ESPN Radio 94.1. Alleyne is commitment No. 12 for the Hokies in the 2015 class.
Alleyne chose Virginia Tech out of a top six that also included Kentucky, Louisville, Oregon, Virginia and East Carolina.
"I talked to my coaches and my family and I just had a good bond at Virginia Tech. I just was comfortable there and I could see myself playing there. Coach (Torrian) Gray and Coach (Bryan) Stinespring both recruited me and I just liked the bond with them."
Alleyne is the fourth commitment for the Hokies from the Tidewater area in southeast Virginia, joining Phoebus three-star defensive tackle Harry Lewis Virginia Beach Salem three-star defensive end Trevon Hill and Oscar Smith three-star running back Deshawn McClease.
Alleyne is also the third defensive back commitment for Virginia Tech in the class of 2015, joining Northern Guilford (NC) Rivals250 cornerback Mook Reynolds and HD Woodson (DC) three-star cornerback DuWayne Johnson.
