Alim McNeill down to ten
Raleigh (N.C.) Sanderson defensive tackle Alim McNeill is one of 2018's top VT targets, and the Hokies remain alive after he cut his lost to ten this evening.
The three-star will also consider Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Louisville, Michigan, NC State, Penn State, South Carolina, and North Carolina along with the Hokies. Arizona State, Florida, Maryland, and Tennessee are among the programs he eliminated from the hunt.
The 6-2, 260-pounder is a high school linebacker and defensive end, but will bulk up to play on the interior DL in college. He is Rivals.com's No. 22 defensive tackle nationally and No. 17 rising senior in North Carolina. He is also a teammate of three-star running back target Trent Pennix, who has previously named the Hokies his top school.
