He's only been in the United States for just over two years, but it hasn't taken long for 2016 forward Thon Maker to make an impact.
Maker played in his first AAU event in 2011 and enrolled at a school in Louisiana before enrolling at the Carlisle School (Va.) midway through last season. Now in his sophomore season, Maker is still climbing.
Virginia Tech has offered, but so too have Arizona, Georgetown and NC State. And others, including Kentucky and North Carolina, are plenty aware of Maker.
