Michigan offer catches Schofner's attention

Michigan has expanded its recruiting efforts in recent weeks, extending scholarship offers to a number of new prospects. The most recent player to receive the good news from the Maize and Blue was 6-7, 276-pound offensive tackle Skyler Schofner of Johnstown (Ohio) Monroe.

Possessing great size, Schofner was one of the standout prospects at the Army National Junior Combine in San Antonio in January, finishing the top five in both the 40-yard dash and shuttle among offensive linemen. He was the only offensive lineman to finish in the top five in both events.
